William Eustis Russell. '77.

Ex-Governor William E. Russell, of the class of 1877, died near St. Adelaide, Quebec, July 16. He was born in Cambridge, January 6, 1857, and was the son of Charles Theodore Russell. He was educated in the schools of Cambridge and entered Harvard with honors in 1873. At college he quickly became well known among his classmates as an excellent scholar, an all-round athlete,
