Last evening after the Yard concert by the Glee Club an informal mass meeting of students was held to protest against the removal of all athletic sports from Holmes Field at the end of this year. The following petition to the Corporation was drawn up:

We, the undersigned, petition that the Corporation confer with the following men as representing the student feeling in Harvard University with respect to the proposed removal of athletic sports from Holmes Field, before taking decisive action: B. G. Waters, R. H. Stevenson, Jr., J. Dean, E. N. Wrightington, A. Borden, F. W. Moore.

A blue-book, containing this petition has been placed at Leavitt's to remain three days, and all students still in Cambridge are urged to sign it.
