Beginning on Wednesday, June 17 (Bunker Hill Day), a tournament will be played on the grounds of the Longwood Cricket Club, Longwood. The winner of the tournament will be called upon to play Mr. F. H. Hovey, the present holder, for the championship of Massachusetts. The tournament will be played on grass courts. Prizes will be awarded the winner of the tournament and the winner of the championship. Players are requested to be on the grounds at 9.30 on June 17, and lunch will be served on the grounds on that day.

All matches except the challenge match will be best two in three sets, the third set only being advantage. The challenge match will be best three in five advantage sets.

Entries will be received up to 4 o'clock p. m. Tuesday, June 16, by P. E. Presbrey, Secretary Longwood Cricket Club, P. O. Box 2337, Boston. An entrance fee of $1.00 should accompany each entry. The referee will be W. D. Orcutt.
