Yesterday morning a fire broke out in the building at 352 Washington street, Boston, owned by the University Corporation. The fire burned fiercely for nearly an hour and did considerable damage to the building and to the goods owned by the various tenants in the block. The principal damage was done on the second and third floors where the ceilings and partitions were burned through. The loss to the University will be about $5,000.
