Harvard-Princeton Game.

The first of the series of five baseball games between Harvard and Princeton will be played at Princeton this afternoon. The Harvard men left Boston on the three o'clock express yesterday afternoon and stopped at the Windsor Hotel, New York. They go to Princeton this morning.

The Princeton nine has showed up especially strong thus far this year, having been defeated but once in a scheduled game. From the records of the Harvard and the Princeton nines it looks as though Harvard has but little chance of winning.

Although there are two positions on the Harvard nine which are rather unsettled, there is every reason to believe, judging from the earnestness of all the men, that the nine will play a hard game. The men are all in good condition.

The batting order of the two nines will be as follows:

HARVARD. PRINCETON.

Dean, 2b. s. s., Ward.

Scannell, c. p., Easton.

Burgess, r. f. r. f., Altman.

Clarkson, l. f. 1b., Kelley.

Paine, p. c. f., Bradley.

R. Stevenson, 3b. l. f., Titus or Wilson.

Haughton, c. f. c., Smith.

T. Stevenson, 1b. 3b., Gunster.

Vincent, s. s. 2b., Wheeler.
