Yesterday afternoon, after the usual fielding practice, Ninety-six and Ninety-nine played a five-inning practice game, and, although Ninety-nine had in a number of substitutes the score was a tie-4 to 4. The batting of the Freshman nine was rather better than that of '96, but the fielding of both teams was poor. The teams were made up as follows:
