Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
Yesterday the College nine was a second time victorious over the Haverhill team, defeating them easily in a poorly played game by the score of nine to two. In the field Haverhill was much better than the College team, but in the box Chase was not nearly so effective as Gregory, and the superior batting of the Harvard men gave them the game.
Morton caught a good game for Harvard, and the outfield did well, but, with the exception of Bouve, the infield was very weak. For Haverhill the best playing was done by Regan and Barret.
The score:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
College Nine, 0 1 4 0 0 0 0 4 0-9
Haverhill, 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 1-2
Batteries-Gregory and Morton; Chase and Donovan.
