The Harvard Cricket Eleven was defeated by Haverford last Saturday at the grounds of the latter in the second game for the intercollegiate championship. Haverford proved an easy winner, outplaying Harvard in every department.

Havertord won the toss, and batting first on a wicket which rather favored the bowler, put together the total of 152. C. H. Howson played a fine inning for 58, and Lester, Mifflin and J. Scattergood, with 20 and 17, all showed good form.

None of the Harvard men with the exception of Comfort, made any resistance against the bowling of Lester, Mifflin and Hinchman, and the innings closed for 58.

Following on Harvard passed her opponents' score by four runs, P. H. Clark 39, Comfort 17, and Morgan 12, all playing well for their respective score.

Harvardford secured the necessary runs without the loss of a wicket.
