Yale Senior Elections.

NEW HAVEN, CONN., May 21.- The senior societies of Yale College gave out their elections to the junior class this afternoon. It was done in the time honored fashion. The senior society men walked about the large crowd and slapped on the shoulder the man to be elected. There were a good many disappointed juniors this evening. Several prominent athletes and sophomore society men failed to receive an election. E. Hill, Jr., enjoys the distinction of being the first member of the Zeta Psi Fraternity to receive a senior election. He was slapped for Wolfs Head. Zeta Psi, although young at Yale is coming up with a rush and this marks its recognition by the senior societies. Wolfs Head was the only one this year whose elections were openly refused. R. D. Tytus, C. D. Clark and H. D. Kountze were the men who declined. Kountze afterward went to Keys.
