The Cercle Francais held its last meeting of the year in the large room of the Colonial Club last evening. In place of the regular conference a vaudeville entertainment was substituted. French posters adorned the walls and the members and guests composing the audience were seated at small tables at one end of the room, the other end serving as the stage. The Chamber Orchestra furnished the music, and although it was quite impromptu, the entertainment was a great success.
The entertainers, all of whom appeared in costume, were H. G. Gray '97, S. L. Pitts '97, H. B. Fenno '97, H. Schurz '97, and M. E. Stone, Jr., '97. J. P. Hayden '97 and J. A. Carpenter '97 were the pianists.
