St. Mark's, 3; College Nine, 2.

On Saturday last the College Nine received another defeat at the hands of St. Mark's School. The men were unprepared to find such a strong team and were unable to hit White, the St. Mark's pitcher, effectively. He struck out a number of men and played steadily at critical points. Arnold on the other hand, for Harvard went to pieces at the end of the ninth inning, gave three successive bases on balls, and thereby forced in the winning run.
