Sophomore Crew.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday the sophomore crew went on the river in a barge for the first time. The order was as follows: Stroke, Adams; 7, Cabot; 6, Bull; 5, Fuller; 4, Scull; 3, Butler; 2, Rice; bow, Dobyns. All the men but one, Butler, had been on the water before, so the work was very good, and the boat fairly steady. Wadsworth and Herman went out in a pair oar. The other substitutes did not row.

The new Davis boat for the sophomore crew will be finished in about two weeks. It is made of cedar, has a double gunwale, and in all other respects is just like the '94 'varsity shell, which was used by the freshman crew last year in the race at New London.
