Last Tuesday, Captain Garrett Cochrane, of the Princeton football team, called out the candidates for next fall's eleven. Forty men responded and indulged in light practice. It has been decided to abolish summer practice and confine the work of the team to the college grounds.

The prospects for a strong team are unusually bright, a large number of valuable candidates being in the field, together with eight veterans of last year's team.
