The Candidates for the College Nine will remain in Cambridge during the Spring Recess. Manger Carleton has arranged four games for them during the vacation, two of which are with strong professional teams. Today they play Fall River, on their own grounds; April 20, Haverhill, at Haverhill; April 22, Bangor, on the South End grounds; and April 25, Springfield, at Springfield.
The College Nine is now playing well; the batting is hard and the fielding clean, and they seem to be especially strong in the box.
