The following challenge has been sent to the secretary of the Yale Gun Club:
CAMBRIDGE, Nov. 12th, 1891.The Harvard Shooting Club challenges the Yale Gun Club to a match to be shot on the morning of the 21st of November, at the grounds of the Springfield Gun Club. The teams to consist of five (5) men, each man to shoot at thirty (30) blue rock targets from five (5) unknown angles.

Several practice matches were held, Gould and Everett each winning one. Mr. Wardwell of the Wellington Gun Club, the champion of Massachusetts, was the guest of the club and gave the members some very good hints about shooting.
