Mr. Watson has received an invitation to visit Oxford and see the annual boat race between Oxford and Cambridge, which is to be held on the Thames on the 28th of this month. While there he will be the guest of Mr. Lehman, the coach of the Oxford crew. Mr. Watson leaves on next Wednesday. During his absence George S. Mumford '87 will coach the 'varsity crew.

The number of men now trying for the crew has been reduced to eleven, as Moulton '98 and Dunlop '97 have stopped rowing. Yesterday the men rowed in the following order: Goodrich, stroke; Jennings, 7; Sprague, 6; Perkins, 5; Hollister, Ames, 4; Moulton, Bullard, 3; Hayes, Stillman, 2; Hall, McIsaacs, bow.
