On Saturday afternoon, the regular run of ten miles which the 'varsity crew take to end up the week's work was omitted because of the poor condition of the streets. Instead, the new men rowed about four hundred strokes on the machines and then ran four miles. Wheeler, who has been rowing number six on the second crew, has stopped and will not row any more for the present.
