'Varsity Crew Goes on the River.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday afternoon the 'varsity crew rowed on the river for the first time since last fall. The launch has not yet been made ready, so Mr. Mumford coached the men from the barge. Captain Bullard did not row. The order of the crew was changed again yesterday afternoon, the men rowing as follows: Stroke, Goodrich; 7, Jennings; 6, Sprague; 5, Duffield; 4, Stillman; 3, Perkins; 2, Hollister; bow, Moulton. From this it will be seen that Stillman and Hollister have changed places and Moulton has been put at bow. Hayes and Ames practiced in a pair-oar.

After the row on the river the following men were taken to the training table: Bullard, Jennings, Sprague, Goodrich, Duffield, Stillman, Perkins, Hollister, Moulton and Hayes. The training table is at Clarke and Phelps's.
