In response to the call of Captain Davis, only nine football men came forward last night as candidates for the freshman crew. The men and their weights are as follows: F. G. Shaw, 196; M. S. Duffield, 165; M. J. Connor, 170; S. W. Sleeper, 162: C. M. Weld, 158; J. W. Dunlop, 155; S. L. Pitts, 145; E. M. Stanton, 145; and J. T. Hewes, 139.

There are many others who could come out if they made the effort. All such men the 'varsity captain requests to be in the rowing room, dressed to row, at 4 o'clock this afternoon.
