A competitive debate for membership to the Harvard Forum was held last evening in Harvard 1.

The question, "Resolved" That the best interests of the country demand the return of the Republican party to power," was opened on the affirmative by W. E. Hutton L. S., and on the negative by F. R. Steward '96.

Of the six speakers who tried three, S. T. Sears 1 L., H. W. Adams '99, and W. W. Roberts '97, were admitted to membership.
