Democratic Club.

A meeting was held last evening in University 16 for permanently organizing a Democratic Club in the University. F. Dobyns '98 called the meeting to order, and briefly stated the purpose of the club. The following were then elected officers to serve for the half year:

President, F. Dobyns '98; vice-president, H. U. Sims 2L; secretary, F. A. Burlingame '97; treasurer, W. Coleman 1L.

The officers, with C. G. Fitzgerald '99, appointed an executive committee, and were empowered to draw up a constitution to present at the next meeting.
