There will be a competitive trial for membership in the Harvard Forum in Harvard 5 at 7.30 tonight. The subject will be "Resolved, That the income tax is a desirable scheme of taxation." The debate will be opened by G. L. Paine 1G. for the affirmative and F. K. Kernan '97 for the negative. It will be open to all members of the university. Freshmen are specially invited to try.
At a business meeting of the club last evening, it was decided to hold the annual club dinner on Friday, May 21.
