The awards of the Bowdoin Prizes for 1892-93 have been made and are given below. It will be noted that of the nine prizes offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, only six have been awarded this year. The following is the list:
T. C. Smith, A. B. 1892, a prize of $100 for a dissertation on Unconscious Mental Life.
F. K. Ball, A. B. 1890, A. M. 1891, a prize of $100. for a translation into Greek from Bunyan.
E. Cockrell, '95, a prize of $100. for a dissertation on the Political Influence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
G. R. Noyes, '94, a prize of $100. for a translation into Latin from Henry Clay.
E. A. Burt, '93, a prize of $100. for a dissertation on the Origin and Variations in Organism.
S. M. Ballou, '93, a prize of $50. for a dissertation on the Natural History of Rivers.
