The Harvard Index for 1896-97, which is placed on sale today, is a somewhat smaller volume than was last year's, but contains few advertisements and more reading matter.

With a few unimportant exceptions, it contains all the organizations and lists which were given last year, and in addition the Democratic Club, the Exeter Club, the Non-partisan Silver Club, the Sketch Club, and the Sound Money Campaign Club.

The Index is edited this year by R. Pierson '98 and W. B. Wolffe. Its price ir 75 cents.
