It is very natural that a subscription such as the one to raise money for cups for the '97 'Varsity nine, should be slow in getting started. When so small a sum is asked from each man, and when there are so many to give, fellows are apt to be a bit thoughtless and not go out of their way to drop a quarter in the box. As we do not wish to leave the boxes out more than a week, we must request the college public to get a gait on.
