To the Editors of the Crimson:
Next week the lacrosse practice, which has been interrupted during the past week will be resumed. It is hoped that hard practice for the next two weeks will do much toward developing a strong team next spring. To this end all old men and all of last year's squad as well as the new men will come out for the Fall practice.
There is no game which requires so much athletic instinct, as we may say, as lacrosse, requiring, as it does, great endurance, swiftness and quick perception of opportunities. Among the best players on the various teams the team met last year were men from the football teams. New that the class football season is over it is to be hoped that many of the men who are lovers of a skilled sport and desire to keep in good training will come out and try to learn the game of lacrosse.
The team representing Harvard is obliged to meet the best teams in the country, and should therefore have the support of the best athletic material in college. Some old Harvard players will be out this week, and it is hoped that a good number of new men will come out to get the benefit of their instruction.
