Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
Much interest has been occasioned by the recent petition of the University Glee Club for a western trip during the Christmas holidays. The Faculty forbade the trip last winter, but it was hoped that this year the vote might be reconsidered. Yesterday afternoon, however, at their regular weekly meeting, the Faculty voted not to allow the trip this year.
It is possible that a new petition will be put before the Faculty for a shorter trip, to include the small cities of New England and New York City.
The petition regarding the trip of the Hasty Pudding Club was not brought up at yesterday's meeting.
