Yesterday Mr. Lehmann had the candidates for the 'Varsity Crew out in pairs:
The men rowed in one of the old pairs which has been rigged with English locks and slides with no incline. Yesterday for the first time the men rowed with the new oars from Donahue which have been made like the English ones with narrow blades and greater leverage inboard.
Davy is also rigging one of the shells according to Mr. Lehmann's ideas.
