Thirty-five men competed last night in the second preliminary trial of speakers for the Harvard-Princeton debate. The names of the five men who were chosen for further trial are: C. W. Barrows 2L., C. Grilk '98, H. F. Knight 1L., L. E. O'Brien '97, and G. L. Patterson 1L.
These men and those chosen at the previous trial will debate Thursday evening instead of Wednesday evening of this week, as first announced. Each man will be allowed eight minutes to speak and the order, which will be determined by lot, will be announced immediately before the trial.
