The reception to new members of the University will be held this evening in Sanders at eight o'clock and will be presided over by Professor N. S. Shaler, chairman of the committee on the reception of new students. The speakers of the evening will be President Eliot, Dr. Edward Everett Hale, Dr. H. W. Walcott, a member of the Corporation, and probably Acting-Governor Walcott. After the meeting in Sanders, a reception will be held in Memorial Hall, to which all of the officers of instruction and government have been invited, and an opportunity will be afforded students to meet such officers of the College as they may desire, and also members of their own and other classes. Refreshments will be served.
A cordial invitation is extended to all members of the University to be present.
