Last Saturday afternoon at Lowell, the Harvard cricket team defeated the Lowell eleven by the score of 92 to 48.
Taking into account the poor condition of the wicket, the score of the Harvard eleven was good and showed the benefit of the in-door batting practice. At the bat, Drinkwater, Comfort and Scattergood did the best work; both Adams and Hastings bowled well, only 41 runs being made off them. The fielding of the team was sharp and every chance was accepted.
For Lowell, Hurd played the best at the bat with the score of 19 not out.
