Secret Practice for the Eleven.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday, for the first time this year, the University eleven had secret practice in preparation for the Carlisle Indian and Princeton games. No game was played, the whole practice being devoted to going through signals.

On account of a slight injury, F. Shaw did no work yesterday, Doucette taking his place at centre. The make-up of the first eleven was as follows: Lewis l. e., Mills l. t., Bouve l. g., Doucette c., N. Shaw r. g., Swain r. t., Monlton r. e., Beale q., Sullivan l. h. b., Dunlop r. h. b., Brown f. b.

The injury to Haughton's leg has developed so seriously that it is doubtful if he can play again this year.
