Yesterday afternoon the semi-finals in the tennis tournament were played and resulted in victories for R. A. Bidwell '99 and H. Ward 1900.

The match between R. McKittrick '99 and Ward was fairly well played. Ward won the first set very easily, but in the second lost on McKittrick's good lobbing. Ward played well at the net and smashed beautifully.

The summary is as follows:

R. A. Bidwell '99 beat J. F. Brice '99, 6-1, 6-4.

H. Ward 1900 beat R. McKittrick '99, 6-0, 5-6, 6-1.

The finals between Bidwell and Ward will be played this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
