EASTON, PA., Oct. 26.- The proposition made by the University of Pennsylvania to play two more football games with Lafayette, in Philadelphia this year has been refused by the latter.

A conference was held here today between Manager McAver, representing the University of Pennsylvania and Manager Bishop, Coach Davis, Professor F. A. March, Jr., and Hon. H. J. Reeder, representing Lafayette. After two hours conversation, Pennsylvania was refused because it was thought that the Eastonians could not endure the strain of anymore games than those already scheduled.
