Saturday afternoon on Soldiers Field the Freshman eleven defeated Exeter by a score of 4 to 0. The game was very loosely played on both sides and fumbles were frequent. Nine een hundred's interference was poor and her kicks were blocked several times. Williams did some fine punting for Exeter and G. Shaw tackled well.
In the first half '00 kicked off but Exeter lost the ball and the Freshmen, taking advantage of a fumble, carried the ball over the line for a touchdown, four minutes after play began. The rest of the half the ball was mostly in the Freshman's territory. Exeter once rushed the ball down to 00's five yard line but lost it on downs and Edmunds punted to the middle of the field. The half closed with the ball on Exeter's 45 yard line.
