FALL BASEBALL WORK.

In response to Captain Dean's call for men for fall practice in baseball, about twenty-five men came out. Although there were a few Freshmen in the squad, the great majority of the candidates were men who have played on class teams, especially men who played on the '99 Freshman team.

The work consisted of batting at the nets and fielding, after which the men took a short run. Rand, of the 'Varsity, had charge of the squad.
