The 'Varsity crew, picked from the two trial eights, rowed yesterday in the following order: Stroke, C. C. Bull; 7, D. M. Goodrich; 6, J. F. Perkins; 5, J. H. Perkins; 4, A A. Sprague; 3, S. Hollister; 2, C. Thomson; bow, E. A. Boardman. They rowed down river, about half a mile beyond the Harvard Bridge and back in the barge in which Captain Goodrich's crew rowed the race on Saturday. Mr. Lehmann coached as usual; with him in the launch were several graduates interested in rowing, among them Mr. Fay, bow of the '69 crew. The crew will continue rowing as long as the weather permits. Mr. Lehmann has made arrangements to return to England, December 16th.
R. M. Townsend, L. S., of last year's 'varsity crew, has been placed temporarily in charge of the Freshman crew squad.
