Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
The seventh annual indoor games of the B. A. A. will be held February 8 at Mechanics Hall. One of the features will be a two mile invitation race. Champion Conneff, Orton, Bean, Delaney, and others will start from the scratch. There will also be ten team races, the most important being those between Harvard and Pennsylvania, the Harvard classes, Amherst and Williams, Technology and Brown, and B. A. A. and Newton A. A. The special events will include the following: Forty yard dash (9 ft. limit); 600 yard run (30 yds. limit); 1000 yard run (50 yds. limit); mile run (70 yds. limit); 45 yard hurdle (4 flights at 3 ft. 6 in., and 9 ft. limit); putting 16 pound shot (7 ft. limit); running high jump (6 in. limit); 600 yard run (sciatch); and interscholastic event, open to school boys of Boston and vicinity. Entries close on January 30. The track will measure 130 yards in circumference with raised corners. There will be three prizes in each even, and in the team races every man on the winning teams will be given a prize.
