The Scholarship of the Class of 1867, with an income of $150, will be awarded soon after the beginning of the second half-year to a freshman in Harvard College thought to be "meritorious and in need of assistance." Preference will be given to sons of the members of the College Class of 1867

Freshmen who have this academic year applied for Crowninshield Scholarships or for the second assignment of Price Greenleaf Aid will be considered, without further action on their part, candidates for the Scholarship of the Class of 1867. All other freshmen wishing to become candidates must apply on forms which may be obtained at the Recorder's office, and must leave their applications with the Recorder before February 15, 1896.
