In response to an invitation from the Union League Club of Chicago, H. E. Addison '96 has been appointed represent Harvard at a Washington's Birthday celebration to be held in Chicago.

In the morning there will be exercises at ten of the upper grade public schools, at each of which an address will be delivered by a student from one of the prominent colleges of the country. A member of the Union League Club will preside over each meeting. The object of the exercises is to encourage among the school children a patriotic interest in national affairs and history.

Later in the day, a meeting will be held at the club, where Theodore Roosevelt will speak.
