The game was marked by the hard hitting of both sides and the sharp fielding of Wesleyan that made Amherst's 13 base hits count but four runs. Beeman knocked a home run. For Amherst, Sullivan and Trask and for Wesleyan, Powers and Beeman each played a great game. The score:
