The final appointment of Williams commencement speakers was made public Monday. The most striking change in the list of honors, as given out some weeks ago, is that Elnathan Sweet of Albany is awarded the valedictory, instead of Hermon A. Strong of Winstead, Conn. The corrected list of appointments is as follows: Valedictorian, Elnathan Sweet of Albany; salutatorian, Hermon A. Strong of Winsted, Conn.; philosophical orations, Walter A. Bratton of Stamford, Vt., William S. Elder of Auburn, N. Y., Edward C. Miller of Skaneateles, N. Y., and John H. Peck, of Pittsfield; orations, Frederick C. Adams of Natick, James R. Craighead of Saratoga, N. Y., Charles H. Durfee of Geneseo, N. Y., Harry E. Foster of Keene, N. H., and Frederick W. Memmott of Newark, N. J.; dissertations, Charles M. Burdick of Lowville, N. Y., John P. Congdon of Wyoming, N. Y., Benjamin C. Heald of Portland, Ore., Rufus G. Mather of Brooklyn, John D. Wild of Manchester, Vt., George W. Hunter of Norwalk, Conn., H. A.
