Last evening in Harvard 1 Professor White read the second half of his translation of Aristophanes's "Birds" before a large audience. The lecture was, as before, illustrated by many excellent lantern slides. After briefly reviewing the first : part of the play, Professor White proceeded to the translation of the second half, in which the action is much more rapid.
