NEW HAVEN, CONN., May 7. - Yale had an easy victory this afternoon over Lafayette. Trudeau kept the hits wide apart, except in the sixth inning, when two singles and a three-bagger yielded an earned run, but fine team work by Yale prevented more than a single run being scored by the visitors. Clarke was pounded heavily and his fielders threw poorly. The score:
