'Varsity Crew.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday the make-up of the first crew of the first 'varsity squad was as follows: Stroke, Bullard; 7, Shepard; 6, R. H. Stevenson; 5, Fennessy; 4, J. M. Perkins '98; 3, Damon; 2, Webb; bow Stevens.

A. A. Sprague '97, R. M. Townsend '96, and F. Duffield '96, have discontinued training. This has left only four men on the second crew of the first squad, namely: Cornwell, stroke; Forbes, Lewis and Watson.

Mr. Watson has come back and spent a good part of yesterday afternoon with Mr. Hammond looking over the men rowing on the second 'varsity squad. It seems probable that some of these men will soon be promoted to fill the vacancies on the first 'varsity squad.
