At a meeting of the class of '96, held last Friday, a committee was appointed by the president to send a letter of condolence to the parents of George C. Gibson '96, who died a few weeks ago.

The following letter has been sent:

CAMBRIDGE, May 21, 1895.Dear Mr. Gibson: We have been requested by the class of ninety-six to express to you and Mrs. Gibson the deep sympathy the class feels with you on account of your son's death. Although he was among us but a short time, he made many true friends who mourn his loss.

All those who knew him loved him and knowing his worth realize how great the loss must be to you his parents. His death came as a great shock to many of us, making us feel even more keenly for you.

We extend to you once more our heart felt sympathy.
