8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The Harvard-Yale games will begin this afternoon at 2.30 on Holmes Field. The regular membership tickets of the H. A. A. do not admit the holders to the grounds, but tickets can be obtained at Leavitt and Peirce's store. Contestants can not go across the field to the Carey Building but must enter from the street on the north side.
The result of the games is very doubtful but Harvard seems to have an excellent chance, and with the advantage of the home grounds should win. The team has sustained a serious loss in the withdrawal of C. H. Williams '98 who will be unable to run on account of the death of a relative. Williams has been improving rapidly this year and as he has run the half mile in about two minutes, he might have won a place today. There is also some doubt whether F. S. Elliot '95 will be able to ride, on account of illness in his family.
