The Yale News printed an editorial yesterday to the effect that the statements printed in metropolitan papers relative to Yale's refusal to play Harvard at football were distorted and exaggerated, but that no official statement of the situation would be given till Harvard's answer to Capt. Thorne's letter should be received.
