Amherst Chapel Monitorships.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Amherst faculty has decided to put into practice during the coming year the new system of chapel and church monitorships, which was outlined last year when objection was made by the '95 honor men to serving as monitors. The appointments will not be made on the basis of high scholarship, and hereafter the four monitors will not necessarily be the four best scholars in the senior class. Applications will be received by the faculty and the appointments will be made on the basis of pecuniary assistance to needy and worthy students.
