This afternoon the Freshman baseball nine will play its first game of the season on Soldiers' Field at 3.30 o'clock against the Boston Latin School. The nine will be made up as follows: Davis, c.; Lynch, p.; Sherwin, 1b.; Thompson, 2b.; Litchfield, 3b.; Nowell, Galbraith, s. s.; McCall, l. f.; Henry, c. f.; Morse, r. f. Morse will also be change pitcher. No captain has as yet been elected. The playing of the squad lately has been improved somewhat, although the batting is still weak.
